ART PALACE presents “The Greatest Secrets,” a video installation by Austin based Australian artist Ebony Porter. Drawing elements into the gallery such as water, light projection and conceptual sound, Porter creates an environment that places the viewer between visual, aural and celestial hemispheres. From the depths of the ocean to the distant shine of constellations, viewers are invited to reflect upon the mysteries that bind us together.
Ebony received a BA in both Poetry and Art History from Texas State University- San Marcos. Working from an archive of film and video footage photographed during her travels between Norway, Scotland, Mexico, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands her work responds to the texture of memories that shape our individual experiences.
