THE POD SHOW:
Works on Paper by Eduardo Navarro
(organized in collaboration with the Blanton
Museum’s “Sin titulo: An International Symposium on
Latin American Art in a Global Context”)
From April 28 – 30, 2006, Art Palace Gallery, in collaboration with The Blanton Museum of Art, presents THE POD SHOW: Works on Paper by Eduardo Navarro. Navarro’s fantastic work bounces between installation, performance, video and works on paper. For his installation at Art Palace, Navarro will be creating a drawn environment within the setting of a POD, a portable-on-demand storage unit.
Navarro lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina were he took part in an artist in residency program at C.C.R.R. – UBA/Guillermo Kuitca from 2003-2005. His work has been exhibited throughout Argentina as well as Brazil, Venezuela and Guatemala. Later this summer, Navarro will participate in the Skowhegan Artist in Residency Program.
